Rajasthan Royals defeated the three-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings by seven wickets in their match that took place on Monday. With this defeat, the Chennai Super Kings have reached the bottom of the IPL 2020 Points table. Chennai Super Kings, led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, so far have had a disappointing performance in the IPL this time.
Chennai has lost seven of their ten matches in the Indian Premier League being played in the UAE. The three-time champion, CSK, are now even struggling to reach the playoffs this time.
Chennai batsmen batted very slowly in this match due to which the team could put a very ordinary first-innings total. CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was yet again trolled for slow batting in this match, but once again he managed to stun everyone with his extraordinary wicket-keeping skills
Dhoni, who was playing his 200th IPL match, got run out due to the risk he took for stealing a quick second run while batting. No batsman from CSK was able to do wonders, but when the Rajasthan Royals came out to bat for the run-chase, Dhoni once again showed how good he is behind the wicket.
Sanju Samson was on strike in the fifth over. On Chahar’s third ball, Samson tried to play an unorthodox shot to get a boundary but wicket-keeper MS Dhoni dived to his left to completed a very difficult one-handed catch to send Sanju back to the pavilion. The video of Mahi’s diving catch is getting viral on social media.

Chasing a modest target of 126 runs to win, RR’s star batsman Jos Buttler scored an unbeaten 98-run partnership for the fourth wicket with captain Steve Smith (26 not out) as they together scored 70 off 48 balls.
Chennai Super Kings failed to give a big target, still their bowlers had managed to pull themselves back in the match by taking quick three wickets. However, Butler and Smith guided Rajasthan to a thrilling victory.
