Famous Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, who was admitted to hospital due to heart problems, thanked for the great support.
The former Indian cricketer underwent angioplasty the day after he complained of chest pain and was admitted to hospital early this morning. Dev, who expressed support for everyone, said he was on the path to recovery.

The day before, the hospital, Fortis Escorts Okla Road, released a statement saying the former cricketer is currently in the ICU and is under close surveillance.
“Former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev, age 62, came to the emergency department of the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute (Okla Road) at 1:00 am on October 23 with a complaint of chest pain,” the hospital said in a statement.
“He was evaluated and emergency coronary angioplasty was performed at midnight by Dr. Atul Mathur, Director, Department of Cardiology. Currently, he is admitted to the ICU and is under close supervision of Dr. Atul Mathur. Kapil Dev is now stable and is expected to be discharged in a couple of days,” Added.
Dev has played 131 Tests and 225 ODIs for the Indian cricket team. In the longest form of the game, the all-rounder amassed 5,248 runs and took 434 wickets.
Led by Dev, India lifted the 1983 World Cup after beating the West Indies in the final.
