Reigning champions and four-time winners Mumbai Indians will take on Steve Smith-led Rajasthan Royals in the 45th edition of the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The Rohit Sharma-led team has topped the IPL 2020 rankings with seven wins from 10 matches. The Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, are seventh in the eight-team table with four wins from 11 teams.
Mumbai Indians clash with Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 10 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Ground. Led by Kieran Pollard, he missed the clash due to a femoral injury in the absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma.
Meanwhile, Smith’s team is advancing to the match after falling to an eight-wicket defeat at the hands of David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous clash.

IPL In Sanju Samson and Ishant Kishan needed 19 runs and 44 runs to reach 2500 and 1000 runs respectively.
Jaspreet Pumara needs one wicket to reach 100 IPL wickets, while Jose Butler is two sixes short to complete 50 IPL sixes for RR.

The match between MI and RR will be the second clash of the doubles title on Sunday, and IST will kickstart at 7.30pm in the absence of fans amid the Kovit-19 epidemic.
