Two weeks after undergoing angioplasty, former World Cup-winning Indian captain Kapil Dev is back to playing golf, with fans eager to see their favorite legend lift the golf stick.
The 61-year-old, who said he wanted to play golf as soon as doctors allowed, was able to see him teasing at the Delhi Golf Club on Thursday.
“You can’t put into words how much fun it is to be back on a golf course or a cricket field. Coming back on a golf course, having fun and playing with friends is life. That’s what life is all about,” Kapil posted a video message on his Twitter handle.

Kapil Dev had to be taken to the hospital and doctors underwent emergency angioplasty. Angioplasty is a procedure to open blocked arteries and restore normal blood flow to the heart. The operation was successful and Dev was discharged from the hospital a few days later.
Kapil Dev later posted a video of himself on Twitter saying that he is fine and looking forward to meeting everyone soon.
Seeing the World Cup player back on his feet and enjoying a new innings in his career delighted his fans and well-wishers.
