“You can’t put into words how much fun it is to be back on a golf course or a cricket field. Coming back on a golf course, having fun and playing with friends is life. That’s what life is all about,” Kapil posted a video message on his Twitter handle.

Kapil Dev had to be taken to the hospital and doctors underwent emergency angioplasty. Angioplasty is a procedure to open blocked arteries and restore normal blood flow to the heart. The operation was successful and Dev was discharged from the hospital a few days later.

Kapil Dev later posted a video of himself on Twitter saying that he is fine and looking forward to meeting everyone soon.

Seeing the World Cup player back on his feet and enjoying a new innings in his career delighted his fans and well-wishers.

Kapil has been an avid amateur golfer since retiring from international cricket in 1994 and has participated in many events over the years.
