Ramdev said that soon a decision will be taken on Patanjali’s IPO. A decision regarding Patanjali IPO can be taken by the end of this financial year. He also said that these days he is busy meeting various institutional investors before the Rs 4,300 crore follow-on public offer (FPO) of Ruchi Soya. That is, Ramdev is paying attention to the expansion of Patanjali.

Ramdev especially wants to increase the edible oil business. He said that investors are showing their interest in the Ruchi Soya issue. And they will fix its price in the interest of all the shareholders. Ramdev said that potential investors in Ruchi Soya can rejoice that the company is aiming to transform itself into a leading FMCG company (FMCG). At the same time, he said that we will ensure that the size of the commodity business also increases.

Patanjali’s turnover

Let us tell you that Patanjali did a business of more than Rs 30,000 crore in the financial year 2021. Out of this, Ruchi Soya contributed Rs 16,318 crore in sales. Sales in FY20 stood at Rs 25,000 crore, of which Rs 13,117 crore was contributed by Ruchi Soya.
