Big news: cheap medical studies in these three colleges, admission in so many thousand annual fees
The Uttarakhand government is going to implement the bond system once again for medical students in Doon-Haldwani Medical College. Two years ago, the government abolished the bond system in Haldwani and Doon Medical Colleges. After this, the students in both the medical colleges had to pay an annual fee of Rs 4 lakh.
Students have been opposing this fee for a long time. Government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal said that in view of the interest of the students, the bond system will be implemented again in Doon and Haldwani. The Medical Education Department has been instructed to make a proposal for this. It will be approved in the next cabinet. Till now students were getting this facility only in Srinagar Medical College.
The cabinet has also approved changes in the service rules of ANMs. After this, there will be a one-time relaxation in the obligation of six months training in the promotion of ANM. With this, about 180 ANMs in the state will get promotion soon. The ANM union of the state had been demanding one time relaxation in promotion for a long time.
After this agreement, Doon and students at fifty thousand annual fees in Haldwani Medical College will get admission in MBBS courses. Whereas without bonds, this fee is Rs 4 lakh per annum.
The bond fee in Srinagar Medical College is also fifty thousand rupees. The bonded doctors will have to do an internship in a medical college for one year and a job in the state for two years.
Burn unit will be set up in Dehradun The cabinet has approved the establishment of a burn unit at Doon Medical College Hospital. For this 35 posts have also been sanctioned. The cabinet has also approved the Legal Services Manual in the Medical Education Department.
