Opportunity for students of Uttarakhand: Now earning along with studies, special scheme for topper students

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Education Department is preparing to give Rs 2500 every month for five years to 100 topper students of 12th class government schools. This amount will be given to them for pursuing higher education. 

 

The government has released the minutes of the meeting held on September 21 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan suggested that 100 topper students of 12th class government schools of the state should be given Rs 2500 for higher education for the next five years.

 

In this, 70 children should be included from the Uttarakhand board and 30 from CBSE board. Apart from this, under the Sankalp Abhiyan, IAS and PCS officers should go to schools voluntarily one day in a month and teach children. In relation to giving money to the topper children, the Director Secondary Education was instructed to take action.
